Tengen was trained in the art of ninjutsu since childhood, and he excelled in using sound-based techniques that allowed him to manipulate sound waves and vibrations. He also learned to use various weapons and tools, such as shuriken, kunai, explosives, and musical instruments.

One day, when he was 15 years old, Tengen encountered a demon during one of his missions. He was surprised by the demon’s strength and speed, and he barely managed to escape with his life. He realized there was a world of unknown creatures and mysteries he had never seen before. 

Tengen also married three women during his time as a demon slayer: Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru. They were all former kunoichi (female shinobi) from different clans who had escaped from their oppressive lives and joined Tengen’s side.

Tengen Uzui is an eccentric and flashy individual who always wants to be “flamboyant. ” He has a very high self-esteem and confidence in himself, often boasting about his looks, skills, and achievements. He is also very self-centred with his demands on others, treating the demon slayers very harshly during Hashira’s Training Arc. 

He likes to tease and mock people who are weaker or less experienced than him, such as Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma. Behind his selfish and arrogant nature, however, Tengen also has a caring nature hidden under his flamboyant facade. He is very protective of his wifes and friends, risking his life to save them from danger. 

He is also loyal to the Demon Slayer Corps, following their rules and orders despite his rebellious attitude. He respects his fellow Hashira as comrades-in-arms, especially Gyomei Himejima, whom he considers as his mentor.

Tengen Uzui is one of the most powerful characters in the Demon Slayer series. He has a very high level of physical strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes, surpassing most human standards. He is also very skilled in using various weapons and tools, like swords, shuriken, kunai, explosives, and musical instruments.

• Sixth Form: Reverberation – Makes a sound that can reflect or redirect other sounds.

However, the Demon Slayer Mark also has a drawback: it significantly shortens the user’s lifespan. The more the user activates the mark, the more they risk dying prematurely. Tengen is aware of this risk but chooses to use it anyway when facing life-threatening situations.
